About Big Books Limited

Big Books Ltd is an emerging publisher of quality works of fiction. Started in 2009, the company publishes novels, novellas, short stories and other creative works targeting both the youth and adult readers. It also provides book writing, editing and publishing services.

Among its publications are Terrorists of the Aberdare, a novella by award-winning journalist Ng’ang’a Mbugua and The Last Kiss, a short story about cross-generational conflict by one of Kenya’s youngest writers, 16-year-old Neema Kinoti. Several other books, including illustrated Bible stories for young readers and novels, are lined up for publication in coming months.

Big Books Ltd aims at creating space for literary ideas to flourish in a market dominated by publishers of books targeting the school market. It also offers an avenue for budding and accomplished authors to become partners in the publication and marketing of their books under a unique business model.

The company also supports environmental conservation efforts in Kenya, and, in partnership with other organizations, is involved in road safety campaigns as part of its corporate social responsibility.
